Honestly the bad reviews are so strange because this place was probably our favorite out of all the places we stayed during our travels. We got the Charlie Storm room since we were traveling with our 2 teenagers & 2 dogs and there was plenty of room. The room was very clean, air conditioner was amazing, felt like we finally got some good sleep. You don't hear housekeeping knocking on other people's doors during the morning, personally will probably stay here again when we come back to Tombstone. The location was also perfect, it's literally right across from the main attraction road. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to spend time in Tombstone.
Just back from a two night visit. We would go back. Pros. Location walkable to bars, restaurants, gun fight, stores. The young manager was great friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and pillows. Cons. While it was clean, does need a deep cleaning and paint, no hair dryer, no fan in bathroom, no tissue, coffee maker is hard to use, I'd have washed our coffee cups but no dish soap or dishcloths. It's a quaint 3 bed motel and we would stay here again.
Very nice, clean place to stay. Beds very comfortable. Walking distance to everything was nice! Only bad part was water pressure.
I give it a 5 for personality! I loved this place so much wish I could rent room 4, long-term! Wasn’t the cleanest, microwave dirty, but manager and owners very responsive, and I still give it a 5 for solid historic appeal. Location also ideal. I hope they never redo the rooms, felt nice and old-timely in there! Thanks for a great stay!
Stayed in the Doc Holiday room (#4) it was nice. The bedroom was cute but I will say they beds are very noisy with lots of squeaking. Has a little sitting area and the sofa pulls out into another bed. The kitchen area is a sink and little cabinets with table and 2 chairs. The bathroom was cute, but the shower took a while to warm up, and the water pressure wasn't the best. Had a nice stay. Across the main road (kinda busy at times) that goes through town, and you're a block away and right in the middle of all the activities.

The location of this hotel is great. Right across the street from all the attractions. The rooms out a bit outdated but what do you expect from a building that’s been there since the 1800s- it’s not the Hilton. You're getting to stay in a piece of history. The only real complaints I have is the sheets had fur (? Hair) we slept on top of the sheets so no real big deal there. The shower floor didn’t look very clean, and the bed was super noisy. Other than that the room was cozy. There are 2 rooms each one has a bed. We didn’t have to use the coffee maker but there were plates cups napkins to use if we needed them. Would stay again because it’s convenient to all the stuff we want to do and the price is reasonable. Next time we’ll just bring our own sheets.
What a fantastic place to stay!!! We were in room 4, supposed to be the most haunted. It’s one of the few original buildings still to stand and the oldest board rooms place.
